Specific Information About Our Unit

  • Single bedroom units have a very spacious bedroom. They are the largest bedrooms in Village Green Units.
  • There is a large cement patio space on the side of the unit which can be utilized for a storage box. We are happy to sell and leave ours with the unit. It provides a great deal of extra space. 
  • The Air conditioner is only a few years old and the house heats and cools quickly and cheaply. 
  • Basement and stairs are finished and carpeted.
  • There are tiled floor spaces and fixtures for the washer and dryer in the basement.
  • The HOA in VG is less for a smaller unit. There are many benefits to living in VG in general (see below) .
  • The Firewall on the west side prevents sounds from neighbors to that side (though our current neighbor is very quiet anyway). No firewall with the neighbors in the back but we do not hear them a lot at all, and we have had no problem with noise. 
  • Hardwood floors on the main floor.
  • Refrigerator and stove are only 3 years old.
  • Garbage Disposal is new 
  • Fixtures and lights are only 3 years old.
  • Nonsmoking unit. All neighboring units are also smoke free.
  • Private parking space a few spaces from the front door.
  • Paint is a neutral tan color and was done 3 years ago.

  • Maintenance is amazing here. It is so nice to always have their help when there is a problem. It's much better than anything else I've ever seen. They get back to you within a day, often that same day. 
  • Because Village Green is surrounded by the gardens it gives a lot of privacy. The gardens also cut noise pollution and lets you see all kinds of birds and animals. We have really enjoyed living here.
  • Great Location: 
    • 5 minute drive to the zoo (we have a season pass)
    • Old Market and downtown are 7 minutes away
    • Creighton University is 10 minutes away
    • Ed's Rexall pharmacy is a few blocks away 
    • Bancroft Elementary school just outside of Village Green
    • "Our Family" grocery store about 7 minutes away
    • Wal-marts/diverse shopping/movie theater 15 min away in either Council Bluffs or Bellevue
